A delighted gasp, a blast of surprise - the sound of the man finding a lucky pound tucked between the worn train seat and metal wall of the train.

‘No one saw that,’ he said grinning like he had struck gold.

‘A lucky way to start the week,’ I said and we chuckled.

And I thought I was lucky to have this happy encounter on the early morning train.
