Butterflies

They fly over of the gorse,
giddy in the air, two lovers
chasing each other;
the silent flapping of their silken wings,
the quick blinking of colour.
They swerve around the yellow flowers,
not stopping for that nectre.
She gives a wink and
dives.
He follows. The find each other
and mate in the hushed shade.
