Storytelling

As a professional storyteller, I do storytelling sessions in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 classes in primary schools throughout London, and also in schools in Surrey and one in Rome. I created and run a Year 3 and Year 4 after-school Storytelling club in my own school. I help other teachers develop storytelling skills and give lectures in storytelling at the Wandsworth Professional Centre and teacher training colleges. I offer INSET training in storytelling to schools and will be doing this in Rome. I am currently working with Wandsworth Literacy to develop storytelling opportunities in the borough. Occasionally, I run big after-school fund-raising storytelling events. During the school holidays I do storytelling sessions at Balham Library. My storytelling style is very interactive: I involve the children and use lots of props. I can also be booked to do storytelling at children's parties. Email me for rates, references and more details about the 150+ stories I tell.
