Storytelling

As a professional storyteller, I do storytelling sessions in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 classes in a wide range of primary schools in England and Europe. I created and co-manage a Year 3 and Year 4 after-school Storytelling club in my own school with a teaching colleague, Ty Van Brown. With Ty, I have developed a new model for storytelling that I use for the basis of INSETs and lectures we deliver to academics and teachers at international conferences; for Newly Qualified Teachers as part of their training; for Adult Tutors in Wandsworth and community groups associated with Wandsworth Family Learning. I have used Interactive Storytelling as the basis of Summer Schools for language impaired children, entertaining families at school fairs and fund-raisers for Third-World schools.
